Welcome! I’m Alyssa Martin, a yoga teacher and birth doula with a deep passion for supporting individuals through movement and mindfulness. Join me for prenatal and postpartum yoga classes, as well as weekly vinyasa classes in Philadelphia. Through my years of practice, I’ve learned that yoga is not about perfect timing but about showing up to the present moment. By tuning into the sensations of the body, we open ourselves to the profound gift of embodiment and the wisdom it offers.
As a 500-hour E-RYT and RPYT, I have gained experience in teaching all levels of yoga practitioners and I am well versed in offering a variety of modifications through precise cueing, mindful alignment and bodily awareness. As a birth doula and experienced prenatal yoga teacher, I often weave in education and mindfulness, helping you feel grounded, confident, and in tune with your body. Whether you're seeking relief, connection, or simply a moment to pause, my classes are here to support you every step of the way.
Outside of the studio, I’m likely cuddling with my cat, exploring new corners of the world, or supporting pregnant clients as a dedicated doula.
